Overall, I'd like to give these headphones a nice score. The sound quality is nice. The sound is not excellent, but it's good for the price range. But, the headphones have a terrible fit. They are a bit too tight, and worse, the opening for the ears is a bit too small. I have average-sized ears, yet the cushions pinch my ears as I put them on. I have to wedge my ears slightly inside the cushioning to keep from having my ears pinched.
For sound, they get 4.5 stars. For fit, they get -1.5 stars. Oh well, time to find something better I suppose.

I have had this headphones for 3 years now and even though the cushions are peeling for using them every day I still love them and give them 5 stars.
The sounds it's impeccable, they don't claim to be noise canceling but the sound it is so good you wont hear anything in your surroundings if you have the volume loud enough.
You can sometimes use them as speakers. And to top it all off the design it's very retro and they offered all this cool colors.
Very nice gift too, gave it to my brother for Christmas and he is still using them (3 years later) and loving them.

I bought these about 3 years ago when a Target store was putting them on clearance and I got them for about $35 at the time. I really didn't need any headphones at that time but they were cheap enough and looked cool enough that I went ahead and spent the money on them. I have a pair od Sony MDR-XD200's which I think cost $30 brand new, a pair of Skull Candy "Skull Crushers" shich retail for about $60 and a pair of Sony mdr-nc7's which retails for $50 so that's 4 pairs all around the same price point and these are easily my favorite. One thing about this is that the overall sound is better than both the Skull crushers and the Sony nc7's but you don't need battery assistance for the bass with these. Those two both need batteries for the bass and if you don't have the battery in, there's no bass at all with those but with these you get bass that just as good as those. The bass isn't too deep but it does come through very clear.
The only real downside is that they can get a bit uncomfortable on the head after a few hours because the padding isn't too soft and the cans don't swivel, the cord is a bit short too, MAybe only 4 feet long but if you're using it with your mp3 player then you probably don't need that much cord. If your connecting it to a system or computer across the room then just get an extension cord for $4 on this site.
