I'm using this with a Verizon iPhone 4. Does a great job. The video out feature is very limited, because each program has to specifically enable it. I use it for Netflix, and it works great. Just a few things to note:

1) The cable will work for charging and syncing. While charging, there's no noise. When syncing, though, the USB part of the cable induces some noise into the audio output. For how inexpensive this cable is, I can't complain. Just something to be aware of. Under normal use (charging only) it's perfect.

2) The connector on this thing locks. There are two tiny buttons on the sides of the iPhone connector that you have to push in to remove it from the iPhone/iPod. It's easy to overlook them... until the connector won't come back out. I use my cable for routine charging and don't like for it to lock -- so I put a small nylon zip tie around the connector, which holds the buttons in all the time and disables the locking feature. Works for me.

Good cable. Great value for what you get -- a cable where genuine Apple costs twice as much ... and you get a USB charging adapter, too!

I have an iphone 3gs and was hoping to able 2 stream my netflix through my phone to tv but was not able to. Videos and photos work good, but mainly wanted it for netflix. I believe you are able to with iphone 4 :(

Not very cheap, but it's worth the buy. I am able to charge, connect to computer and able to play audio and video on my TV. By the way, I use a 4th generation iPod nano.
